With the barn nearing completion, I took a break to prep some fall food plots. I cleared a road through the timber from the front ag field to the back field.

The idea is to turn this into a core deer travel area that will connect hunting plots in the timber, bedding areas and the front and back fields. Ambush/stand sites to be determined on the down wind side and will be accessed from the power line. Eventually, the hunting plots in the timber will be widened to allow ample sunlight and promote undergrowth around the plots.

I also brush hogged a horseshoe shaped plot in the back field that pinches down within bow range of the island of trees. The plot eventually leads to the travel corridor road I cut through the timber.
