Growth Results

We drilled this clover after spraying Glyfo on a large grass section between and surrounding pasture to our Brassica Plot. First year growth was slow but acceptable. During 2012 - the 2nd season - the clover took off and aggressively competed with everything around it.

Activity Results

This clover has been a consistently high performing crop for us. We have it planted in several areas. Both as a pure stand and as a mix with chicory. The deer really head for it and before we planted Alfalfa it was our best drawing crop during September and October. The Alfalfa upstaged it this last season.

Comments

I am a big fan of this variety of clover. Being an intermediate clover it does not provide as much tonnage as Ladino but I find it easier to plant and maintain. We'll be planting more of this on the DeerBuilder property.
