Growth Results

Despite the terrible soil conditions here this blend came up well. We did have some weed and invasive problems here, primarily with raspberry bushes which deer utilize so we left them alone.

Activity Results

Early to mid season activity was very good. Outside of Food Plot 1 and our Alfalfa plot, this small plot had the largest variety of buck activity. We hunted here often during the early season and passed up several deer. Interestingly, we did kill one coyote over this plot.

Comments

I really liked the remote aspect of this plot and the fact that it drew almost a dozen different bucks during the season (as captured by our trail camera). The blend worked very well but the chicory utilization was far higher than the other varieties in this blend. I would plant this blend again.
